In October 2007 Minister of State, Mary Wallace, TD, and RDS President, Dr Austin Mescal, presented the 2007 Awards in Castletown House, Celbridge, Co Kildare. A special award was presented to John McCarthy, in recognition of his family’s contribution to the Irish Forestry industry.
